We found Paws Up and took a few days to pull the trigger due to the high costs, but really loved our time onsite and so glad that we opted to go. In a world filled with hate talk and anger, your review makes us all feel like remaining open and serving families like yours is worth all the other noise. The horses were fantastic, fishing rafts in perfect shape, everything is obviously well maintained. A photographer has captured stunning images of pooches from underneath using plate glass - showing who the real underdogs are. The concierge who checked us in answered my 7 million questions as he handed us our iteneraries. The staff here is so kind, the location stunning, and activities are so memorable, that anyone unhappy here seems to be just unhappy period.

Room types may vary.We had heard rave reviews about Paws Up from friends/family who had stayed there in the past. Suggestions for those planning trip now - please book your activities in advance to avoid disappointment! Recommend the chicken wings. We split our time between a two bedroom Cliffside tent and Big Timber home. Huge shout out to Executive Chef, Sunny Jin! We ended up heading out to the ranch to celebrate my graduation from law school, which could not be held in person due to the pandemic. Make the dining events free permanently, improve the included wine/spirits list as it is very 3 star. Another COVID pivot, we were really pleased to have our own vehicle to self-drive from the airport and to get around without having to share transportation or schedule and wait for a transfer. There are loads of activities to choose from. We call it The Last Best Place. Lunches at Tank/Trough/Pomp had very slow service and the communal evening events were not for us - Big Sky Bash too hot to enjoy in the 90 degree heat and late summer sun. They waxed poetic, in particular, about the food.

I strongly recommend everyone does the "Grizzly Delivery" Pizza at least one night (especially in winter) and experience the joy of a roaring fire and family/friends time (and yes, a little romance wouldn't be struggle in that setting either). I was naturally concerned with the state of the world as well as negative reviews I had seen for Paws Up. COVID -19 - we were told that all activities would be done in non group formats yet we were put on vans with groups on multiple occasions. I can't quite do it- the quiet luxury in every beam, view and employee is just amazing. If you want anything during your stay just let them know and they will have it there waiting for you. Finally, this is a luxury ranch resort. We recommend calling ahead to confirm details.
