Eg. It's ready for you Are you ready for the The Sims Spark'd?

It is so annoying. Makes the Friend of the World challenge a little more difficult. If I edit my mixologist will they stick as my mixologist, or will the game just generate a new one because the cheat has reset them? Also, if I want to keep a townie doing a certain job like if I want a regular mailman, if I add the mailman to a house (but don't play them) will they stick at their job and not be culled? Is there a way to stop them from generating, or at least from generating I just wish they didnt generate so horribly. It will fill up the town and no more townies. I don't mind the townie Sims too much, though they do tend to overpopulate my worlds. This is where the culling problem arises (game deletes sims to make room for new ones).

Also, if I want to keep a townie doing a certain job like if I want a regular mailman, if I add the mailman to a house (but don't play them) will they stick at their job and not be culled?I *hate* the townie Sims that generate all the time.

I'm not a big fan of mods, but you could check out the modding community to see if they've got anything for population control. Discuss the final episode Also, if I want to keep a townie doing a certain job like if I want a regular mailman, if I add the mailman to a house (but don't play them) will they stick at their job and not be culled? That is not true. No matter how many lots I fill with y own Sims, randomly generated townies are the ones that I see more often around. I have over population problem and all townies will be automatically del right away.I don't think there is anyway to stop them from generating, because the game NEEDS to have bartenders, gym trainers, etc, etc, but I do know of a mod out there that makes the generation to the minimum, so that way they do not generate more than they have to (say you went to a bar; it'd generate a bartender) I don't recall the exact name of this mod but I found it along the lines of MCommandI *hate* the townie Sims that generate all the time. I have edited lots and lots of service sims as I mentioned 5 posts up.Thanks guys for the replies. with your sims?

I can say that it's really, really nice playing in a world populated with ONLY your own hand selected beautiful sims. I delete them every night but they always regenerate. Is there a way to stop them from generating, or at least from generating Thanks guys for the replies. Thanks guys for the replies. I delete them every night but they always regenerate. Eg. 5. In settings under gameplay there is an option to fill empty houses. But, age wise, many of them are elders. I get a more random selection of townie physical appearances. What does annoy me is that it seems like sometimes--after I befriend them--they disappear.

If I edit my mixologist will they stick as my mixologist, or will the game just generate a new one because the cheat has reset them?

Makes the Friend of the World challenge a little more difficult. The vast majority of townies in The Sims 4 base game are unique in that they appear to be entirely randomly generated once the game begins, rather than there being a pre-created starter "townie pool" as part of the game files as there was in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3.

In settings under gameplay there is an option to fill empty houses. This is where the culling problem arises (game deletes sims to make room for new ones). You can never discover The Sims games 100%.
