So overall, this was a good film I guess, nothing great and "ausbaufähig" when it comes to story telling, but the cuteness, harmlessness and innocence of it all makes up for that. It is a sequel to The Little Polar Bear from 2001.

The central characters, Lars and Robbie are very likable and sweet, their friendship adding to the film's appeal. Very run-of-the-mill - something for the kids to watch on a rainy Sunday when there's nothing else on.

This means that small children can watch it over and over again, with great pleasure. Then he meets Robbie, who's funny, friendly, and a seal! But ... And at the end, Lars suddenly starts to act weird. The film is also too short, so the secondary characters could have been developed more, had it been 5-10 minutes longer. Because the creature looks funny and behaves in an obnoxious way, he encounters all kinds of funny and embarrassing situations. Warner Bros also produced an English dub of the movie that was released in America and Britain in 2003. I also loved the soundtrack sung by No Angels, and the sweeping incidental music beautifully played by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Then he meets Robbie, who's funny, friendly, and a seal! The three "villainous" polar bears are quite nasty, and I will say all the characters are well voiced.
